Fueled by his passion for travel, deep love for Mexico, and pride in its cuisine, Chef Roman invites you on a bespoke culinary journey. Discover the region’s vibrant food, drink, and culture while experiencing its rich history, stunning natural beauty, and spiritual heritage.​ The Mexican government has honored Mascota and Talpa de Allende with the prestigious Pueblo Mágico designation, recognizing their “magical” qualities. Located just two hours from Puerto Vallarta, these towns are perfect for travelers seeking an authentic Mexican adventure.

Chef Ventura Dinner at Ventura Comer & Beber 8:30pm Racilla Bar Hop (Optional) Day 2 8:15am Depart hotel 8:30am Breakfast, La Salida, by Lourdes Cázares, chef’s aunt 9:15am Depart for Talpa de Allende 9:45pm Walk Tour Talpa de Allende 12:00pm Depart Talpa de Allende 12:30pm Lunch, Ventura Comer & Beber, by Mauric Ventura, chef’s sister 1:30pm Depart Mascota 3:45pm Arrive in Puerto Vallarta Guests will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned van with a driver and licensed tour guide. Restroom stops are scheduled along the way, and water will be provided onboard. Hotel accommodations in Mascota are conveniently located within walking distance of the central plaza. Guests are encouraged to bring a small overnight bag, dress casually, and pack comfortable walking shoes, along with a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Evenings can be cooler, so a light jacket or sweater is recommended. The tour also accommodates dietary allergies and restrictions, ensuring a delightful and personalized culinary experience.

Tour Highlights: Raicilla Tasting & Barbecue Discover Jalisco’s traditional Mexican distilled spirit—Raicilla. Guests will visit a local agave field, learn about the production process, and enjoy a guided tasting of Raicilla, followed by an outdoor barbecue set against the stunning backdrop of the region’s natural beauty. Talpa de Allende & Mascota Walking Tours Explore the rich cultural and religious heritage of Talpa de Allende and Mascota with guided walking tours through their picturesque mountain settings. Highlights include the Basilica of Our Lady of Talpa and the elegant Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores in Mascota. Stroll through the cobblestone streets and central plazas, where local life bustles amidst historic architecture. You’ll also have the chance to visit small shops offering local crafts, savory treats, and sweets. Dinner by Chef Ventura End your day with an exquisite dinner prepared by Chef Roman Ventura at his sister Mauric Ventura’s restaurant, Ventura Comer & Beber. The menu will showcase local dishes, thoughtfully curated to reflect the region’s culinary heritage.

Tour Pricing: The minimum number of guests for the tour is eight, and the maximum is 14. Must be 18 years old to take the tour. Tour Includes: 1) Round-trip transportation from a central meeting place in Puerto Vallarta accompany by a professional guide and driver 2) 1-night hotel, double occupancy, room rate & tax, no incidentals 3) Multi-course dinner/drinks on Saturday night with a menu by Chef Ventura 4) Raicilla tasting experience that includes a Raicilla tour and lunch barbecue 5) Walking tours of Talpa de Allende & Mascota 5) Sunday breakfast and lunch Cost: - 6,750 pesos per person (based on double occupancy) - 8,250 pesos per person (single occupancy) Price includes 16% VAT tax and credit card processing charges. Gratuity will be collected at the end of the tour and distributed to the tour guides and hosts.

The chef has a cocktail party menu with mouth-watering appetizers for casual events of 15 or more people. Bartender services, cocktail packages, and wine pairings are available upon request.
